Transplanting
Schmidts takes most pride with the honor of growing our own annuals and vegetables plants. Our production team is in charge of transplanting as their main job.
You would help prepare our soil, cups for transplanting and tag our product.
Our goal is to allow the plants to grow strong and healthy, and provide quality plants for our customers. You will be assigned to other tasks such as: Watering, Condensing, and Special Projects.
All jobs are seasonal and are dependent on the needs of our business. You will be subjected to moving locations and job titles.
Job Requirements:
•Being at least 14-16 years old
•Being enthusiastic and personable with customers and co workers
•Willing to be on your feet for 5-6 hours at a time and work in all elements of weather
•A desire to learn about plants
•Willing to work weekends
•Able to lift 40+ pounds
Cashier
Cashiers are the final part of the customer experience at Schmidt’s. We want to take care of our customers like they are family. Your main responsibility is processing sales, understanding the register system and assisting customers. You are also required to issue change and to know our policies.
You will be assigned to other tasks such as: Transplanting, Condensing, Restocking, and Watering.
All jobs are seasonal and are dependent on the needs of our business.
You will be subjected to moving locations and job titles.
Job Requirements:
•Being at least 16-18 years
•Being enthusiastic and personable to customers and coworkers
•Willing to be on your feet for 5-6 hours at a time and work in all elements of weather
•A desire to learn about plants
•Willing to work weekends
•Able to lift 40+ pounds
Condensing Attendant
Maintaining our appearance with our product is the best way to increase our customer experience.
Your job is making sure our floor is restocked, and presentable. As well as assisting customers to find products and direct them to someone who can help with specific issues.
You may also be assigned to other tasks such as: Transplanting, Watering, and Special Projects.
All jobs are seasonal and are dependent on the needs of our business. You will be subjected to moving locations and job titles.

Waterer
Our waterers are on the front lines of caring for our plants and making sure they are healthy for our customers.
You are in charge of making sure the plants are watered during your shift. As well as assisting customers to find products and direct them to someone who can help with specific issues.
You will also be assigned to other tasks such as: Transplanting, Condensing, and Restocking.
All jobs are seasonal and are dependent on the needs of our business. You will be subjected to moving locations and job titles.
Job Requirements:
•Being at least 14-16 years old
•Being enthusiastic and personable to customers and coworkers
•Willing to be on your feet for 4-5 hours at a time and work in all weather elements.
•Willing to work weekends and 1 Sunday a month
•Able to lift 40+ pounds
Nursery Pro
